Ladies’ day committee chair, Gill Gaul said: “The event, Here we go again! Finally!,will be held on Sunday, July 24 in the Turriff Show Marquee at the Haughs and will comprise of a ladies lunch followed by an afternoon of entertainment and fun inspired by Mamma Mia.

“The event was established four years ago with the aim to raise money for charity and in previous years we have been overwhelmed by the amount we have managed to donate to such worthy charities such as Charlie House and Mental Health Aberdeen.

"This year the organising committee have chosen to stay local and raise money for two charities based in the Turriff area; Clan Cancer Outreach Support Turriff and Homestart Deveron, as well as the Turriff Show..

"Tables for the event will go on sale Wednesday, June 1 at 7pm via an online link on the Turriff Show Ladies Day event page on Facebook and will be sold on a first come first served basis.

“We are delighted to announce that local business, Annie Kenyon Architects and Developments Ltd has agreed to be our Main event sponsor which means we can bring a fabulous afternoon of entertainment to the 300 ladies lucky enough to secure a place at this much anticipated event.”

“The drinks reception has kindly sponsored by local business Bridgend Aggregates, who are also the main sponsors of Turriff Show 2022.”

Gill concludes: “Our main aim for the event is to offer a fabulous afternoon for ladies to enjoy and to raise as much money as possible for the brilliant local charities.

“The organising committee would be very happy and grateful to hear from any other local businesses who would be willing to sponsor or donate auction or raffle prizes for the event.”
