Kemnay Riverside path work set to commence

Aberdeenshire Council will start the Kemnay Riverside path upgrade works on week beginning Monday, January 8 (weather dependant) aiming for completion by the middle of February.

Around 500m of path is to be tarred.

After repeated flooding from storm events the old path had suffered from washouts, therefore the 580m long path will be tarred to make it more resilient against future flooding events.

The path will be closed for the duration of the works, however temporary signage will be installed on site in advance of the works to inform users of a suitable diversion.
