KEITH and District Young Farmers celebrated Burns Night in style with a supper at the Longmore Hall.

More than 150 guests turned up for the event, where Jack Hendry addressed the haggis.

Keith and District YFC club secretary Nicole Hendry (22) said: "It was a really successful event. We had more than 150 folk turn up and a good mix of members and the general public.

"Jack Hendry addressed the haggis for the first time and he was really good at it. It's a long one to do but he had been practicing.

"All in all it was a really successful supper, and year for the club in general. It was the perfect way to round off the year. I would just like to thank everyone who came and supported us."

Ms Hendry, from Craigellachie, is in her second year as club secretary. Young farmers can remain part of the club until 30, but are considered associates at 28.

And her second supper was just as successful as her first. She added: "Burns supper wise it was just as good as last year. It's always a good night.

"Secretary wise it was another good year and I'm probably more into the swing of things now."
