KEITH Primary School pupils delighted family and friends with a double Nativity performance last week.

Youngsters performed the traditional show for the St Rufus Church congregation on Sunday (December 17) before performing again at the school on Thursday before breaking for the holidays.

Teacher Gail McIntosh said the kids had a "lovely time" performing for their family and friends having been unable to do so in recent years.

She said: "We performed our first Nativity at St Rufus Church on Sunday during the morning service.

"We showed the rest of the school on Thursday.

"It was so lovely to perform our Nativity for the congregation and of course in front of our family and friends.

"It's something that we haven't been able to do for a number of years because of Covid and recovery.

"The children worked so hard practising and it really paid off on the day.

"We got lots of lovely compliments from family and the congregation and the children just loved doing it and they loved performing it."
