Inverurie Scout's Spring Hop Fun Runs come to Ury Riverside Park

The inaugural Inverurie Scout Group Spring Hop Fun Runs will bring a new community celebration to the Ury Riverside Park on Sunday, April 21.

Members of the Scout Group have organised a dynamic and family-friendly event taking place within the beautiful Ury Riverside Park in Inverurie which will offer a series of races for all ages.

Whether you are in training for an upcoming event, completing a couch to 5k or just want to run for fun they have a race for you!

Race organiser and Beaver leader Diane Brands said: "The Spring Hop Fun Runs is a community celebration bringing together families, friends and neighbours for a day of active enjoyment.

"Proceeds from this year's event will go to support Ury Riverside Park and the Inverurie Scout Group's International trip to Switzerland."

The event will be held on April 21 starting at 9am with race categories:1km Fun Run - For ages three-10; 3km Family Fun Run - Suitable for participants six years and older; 5km Challenge - Geared towards participants aged 10 and above.

The Inverurie Scout Group extends an open invitation to the entire community to join in the festivities and contribute to the success of the inaugural Spring Hop Fun Runs.
