Many of the bowling club members and friends had been asked to dress up in characters from the hugly popular BBC Scotland show Still Game

So apart from Gavin who plays the barman, there was Victor played by Don Wood and his buddy Jack played by Bob Martin

There were quite a few Isas, a much bearded Navid and several Winstons.

One of the Winstons was Hazel Youngson who with Mike Anderson organized the whole "W'ur still game" evening.

She said: "It started as a small idea and then just snow-balled. Nearly everyone admitted to being to a fan of Still Game and were happy to become look-likes for the night.”

It was a welcome return to Inverurie for Gavin after he and the whole Stlll Game cast gave a performance at Inverurie town hall two years ago

He confessed he was an ‘enthusiastic bowler’ but ‘in need of practice’.

Proceeds for the event are to go to the Chest, Heart & Throat Scotland charity
