Inauguration for Lord Lieutenant's Cadet in Inverurie

Inverurie Detachment of Cadet 2 Highlanders had the pleasure of hosting Alexander Philip Manson. Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire as a guest of the unit.

The Lord Lieutenant was present to perform the inauguration ceremony of the Lord Lieutenant Cadet Corporal Stella Walker.

The Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet is seen as an aide and representative to the Lord Lieutenant in each lieutenancy area.

The cadet is selected and appointed based on their participation and achievements within their detachment and is seen as one of the highest achievements in the Cadet Forces.
