All roads led to Castle Fraser on Sunday as the area basked in late summer sunshine and the cream of performance cars were on show.

With owners travelling from across the whole of the north-east and beyond, the public were out in force to, with lengthy delays on the surrounding roads seeing queue times of an hour just before lunchtime as hundreds of people made their way to picturesque site for the biggest event of its kind in nearly two years.

With over 300 vehicles on display, the huge showfield at the castle which normally hosts events such as the Bon Accord Steam Rally was used to the full to make the most of displays which included several owners clubs and motoring groups.

A packed driveway to down to the castle also featured many stands showcasing add-ons, coatings, cleaning and display products from waxes through to full size towing trailers.

Dozens of well know manufacturers were to be seen, with large collections of Audi particularly dominant, but there were everything from top end McLaren and Porsche through to rebuilt Ford Escorts, Drift cars, street racers and race tuned machines.
