Ellon's first tractor run took place on Saturday, with a strong turnout despite inclement weather.

Participating vehicles travelled from JRDs in Ellon to Balmedie where they stopped for lunch before driving back to Ellon.

The array of vehicles on display was a delight for participants, visitors and passers-by alike.

Amongst the line up was Callum Ross from Fraserburgh, who is raising money for Friends Of ANCHOR as part of the charity's annual Brave event which this year is due to take place on May 5 and 6.

Taking to social media after the event, organisers said: "We thank everyone that attended the Ellon to Balmedie road run.

"Bar a few mistakes on our side with confusion of the the updated routes, we think everyone who participated had a bit of fun and enjoyed themselves on the day."
