Sunday saw 360 ladies attend the fourth annual Turriff Show Ladies Day which this year had the theme ‘Divas in the Den’.

The ladies enjoyed lunch provided by the Kastille and then an afternoon of entertainment hosted by compere Steven J Innes.

The star entertainment, which had been kept a closely guarded secret until the day, was The Official Globe Girls who are a captivating collection of drag queens whose fabulous wigs, costumes and high heels created a show which will not be forgotten !

Lots of fun was had whilst raising money for this year’s chosen charities of the Scottish Huntingdon’s Association and The World Suicide Prevention Project as well as for Turriff Show.

Once again, the support for the event from local businesses was phenomenal.

The event was sponsored by Bridgend Aggregates, Aileen Ingram, Aesthetika, JHJ Group and AKA (Annie Kenyon

Architects) and the committee are indebted to them and the other many local businesses who generously donated to the Auction and Raffle.

Whilst a final total has not yet been confirmed, the event is believed to once again have raised over £20,000 for the causes.
