The Royal Northern Agricultural Society's Spring Show made a welcome return to Thainstone on Wednesday, and kicking off the events was the multi-breed show and sale of pedigree cattle.

Taking top honours from judge Gordon Mackay of Upper Ardnagrask, Muir of Ord was the Charolais bull champion and breed champion on the day Inverlochy Superscot a 22 month old Charolais bull from Nuthampstead Judas out of Westcarse Margaret exhibited by Raymond Irvine on behalf of J Irvine and Son, Kirkmichael, Tomintoul.
