The National Trust for Scotland is inviting visitors to set their senses free and immerse themselves in some of the best experiences Scotland has to offer this autumn.

From hearing the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot, tasting freshly harvested apples or seeing a famous battle recreated, there’s something to surprise and delight everyone, and every sense, this autumn.

Regional director (north east) for The National Trust for Scotland Iain Hawkins said: “Autumn in Scotland is a feast for the senses and the National Trust for Scotland is the perfect place to experience this wonderful season.

"Our heritage means visitors can awaken their senses on a fun family day out, a fresh autumn walk or by exploring one of our stunning properties.

“At the Trust we pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences.

"From engaging tours on offer at our built sites to the outdoor adventure activities at others, we provide access to nature, beauty and heritage, for everyone, and that is key to everything we do as a charity.

"Autumn really is the perfect season to discover everything that Scotland has to offer.”
