The Huntly Remakery aims to reuse, recycle and reimagine to reduce waste.

Their clothes swap events at Square Deal have already proved "very popular", a spokesperson for the project said.

Timed to coincide with the bi-monthly Huntly Farmer's Market, a library of clothes has been developed for the benefit of the community to take away for free.

Taking place on Saturday, February 3, from 9am to 12.30pm, the next clothes swap is set to continue the trend.

The spokesperson said: "We are happy to help any other town or organisation if you want to set up something similar.

"We are keen to link with other organisations and are developing new projects, including recycling textiles and sewing and repairing clothes.

"And we are looking at other ideas that fit in with our aims too."

Further clothes swaps will be taking place on February 3, April 6, June 1, August 3, October 5 and December 7.
