Helen and Tanya Cox have been working to support the charity Shishu Bhavan, which runs a day care shelter for street and slum children in Goa, India.

The raffle will be the final fundraising effort for the pair, before they head to India to visit the shelter later this month.

Through their fundraising, they have already managed to sponsor six children - which will enable them to go to a local school and receive further education.

The Shishu Bhavan shelter is a place of refuge for around 34 children in Goa, who experience extreme poverty and deprivation. Apart from schooling where they learn to read, write and speak Hindi and English, the children also receive a snack and a mid-day meal, which is often their only meal of the day.

They are also able to access clothing, footwear, vitamins and medical help which is sourced through volunteers and donations from all over the world.

The raffle costs £2 per number or 3 for £5 - payment can be made by PayPal to amnicoll@aol.com
