Huntly family bingo night to boost Christmas light funds

A FAMILY bingo event is being hosted to support Huntly's Christmas lights.

Taking place at 7pm from Friday, November 17, at the Huntly FC Social Club, all cash raised will go towards the town's much-loved festive decorations.

The Huntly Christmas Lights Group "purchase, maintain and erect" the lights, said group secretary Vickie Tranter.

However, this does not not including the tree in the Square, she added, which is erected and maintained by The Rotary Club.

She also said that, along with the Family Prize Bingo Night next month, more events are planned for later in the year.
