The owner of a highly distinctive road side ornament is calling for its return after it was stolen overnight.
Annette Daykin's property next to the Turriff to Aberchirder road is well known to local's as the home of Team "Past It" racing making it a distinctive roadside location.
Amongst the garden items, Annette has kept a large ornamental calf for many years, which is moved around the paddock on a regular basis.
But last week, it took off, as she suspects, not of its own accord
She said: " This little calf, which is not real was stolen last week.
"Some kind person drove out climbed the fence into my paddock and walked off with it.
"It has a metal frame and is not a toy, so someone must have had an eye on it when passing the property.
"If anyone has any information please let me know, in twenty years of living at Forglen this is the first time anything has been stolen."
