Richard Irvin Facilities Management (RIFM) has netted £670 million of contracts across Scotland and the north of England.

The contracts, in the housing, mobile, managed services and project divisions, will bolster the firm's 170 customers, many of whom have been using its services for over five years.

Mark Buchan, Chief Executive Officer of Richard Irvin FM said: “The business has emerged from the pandemic in good strength and this is evident from the recent contract and framework appointments which present a fantastic opportunity to fuel growth and consolidate our market- leading position in Scotland and the North of England.

"I want to thank the team for working tirelessly to service clients over the past two years and ensuring Richard Irvin FM is fit for the future.”

The largest contract award to RIFM is in the north of England, where the firm has been made part of a new housing framework, EN:Procure.

As part of the framework, RIFM could see a sizeable chunk of a £650 million pipeline over four years, including installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work duties.

Efficiency North, the body running the new framework, is growing its social housing landlord membership across all of the north of England.

Closer to home, RIFM has also been given a four year £4.8 million contract. This includes work on Lifecycle Component Replacement to maintain a Council building.

Aberdeen City Council is another patron, with RIFM assisting their multi trades framework for housing and commercial estates.

RIFM also won a landmark £7 million long-term contract to provide energy management and project services for care organisation, Erskine, which supports ex-service men and women in Scotland.

As part of its commitment to the relationship, RIFM has appointed veteran Esther Richard to help deliver the contact, which will cover the provision of mechanical and electrical services, building fabric and grounds maintenance.

North Tyneside Council has also appointed RIFM to undertake electrical repairs and upgrades, including replacing distribution boards, upgrading earthing and replacement of electrical accessories with kitchen upgrades and associated works for domestic properties.

For Falkirk Council, RFIM has been appointed to its framework worth £4.4M over two years, to provide domestic gas boiler and appliance maintenance, and annual maintenance and servicing checks.
