The current total is £408,000,67p since the group was formed in 1997.

Alison Rennie Bank Community Fundraiser came up from the Central Belt for the occasion and was joined by Fiona Harvey Head of Volunteering.

Gordon group's Kate Erridge explained: "CHAS Children’s Hospices across Scotland have two hospices Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch.

" There is also a CHAS at home team who support about 50 families across the north-east every month providing help in the home and respite care."

The members looked at photographs taken over the years and reminisced about past events whilst enjoying tea, sandwiches and cake.

The current members are busy organising their fundraising schedule.

They kick off with a can collection on March 15 and 16 at Asda, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

If you are interested in finding out more or think you would like to become involved please contact Kate Erridge on 07936 123962 who would be delighted to welcome some new members to the group.
