GlenDronach open day for Alzheimer Scotland

The distillery is combining fly cups and home baking with free tours and drinks for its open day.

Running from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday, March 18, the event is raising cash for Alzheimer Scotland.

As well as receiving a sought-after tour for free, attendees can enjoy a selection of cocktails, whisky boards and tasting boards.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity.

An Alzheimer Scotland spokesperson said: "Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone.

"We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.

"We have over 9,000 members, over 90,000 Dementia Friends and we are supported by over 1,000 volunteers.

"We employ around 550 full and part-time staff, mainly in our service-provision projects across Scotland."
