WITH their first show since the pandemic began, See Thru Productions are set to make a triumphant return to the stage at Glass Hall with Pantomonium next month.

The Glass theatre group is excited to be bringing some fresh comedy to the stage.

They describe it as a "whacky adventure in the pursuit of happy ever afters".

Will Cinderella need some magic to out-wit her fashionista Ugly Sisters? Will Red Riding Hood be gobbled up by the most stylish wolf in Aberdeenshire? Can one hero deliver a happy ever after to all in Panto Land? It's just as well there are fairy godmother apprentices.

There will be live music to complement the mayhem.

Katie Still of See Thru Productions said: "We have a cast of about 16 local people from Glass, Huntly and even Carron. And the age range is from under 10 to over 70 – not counting our newest member, Fergus the schnauzer who is 8 months."

As well as the cast, Katie pointed out that there is a huge team behind the scenes.

"A nod to our incredible families of the cast who support with their patience, babysitting, cooking, chauffeuring, technical creatives, support and expertise, DIY etc – basically we have such total support from them," she said.

With the shows looming, Katie added that nerves are beginning to creep in for some. She said: "It's safe to say we are all excited and are a bit wide eyed at how quickly the show dates are coming round. It'll be alright on the night.

"We always have such fun and can't wait to get back on stage to entertain the community."

Tickets are £10 for the Thursday, November 17 matinee (12 and under go free) and £15 for the Friday 18 and Saturday 19 with ages 5 to 16 costing £7 on these nights and under 5s go free.

The proceeds of the event go back to the community.
