Girlguiding Ellon celebrate Thinking Day

Thinking Day was marked on Sunday when 174 members of Girlguiding Ellon District joined together to celebrate the event focusing on the theme “Our world, our thriving future”.

District Commissioner for Girlguiding Ellon Lesley Coyle said: "Sections started in different points in the community across Ellon, to litter pick.

"We joined together to sing songs and present our unit flags and do a range of activities such as recycle race, designing reusable bags and a fantastic nature inspired collage.

"Serena from Relax kids also came along and got us involved in mindfullness and relaxation."

There are four sections active in the area - Rainbows (ages four-seven), Brownies (ages seven-10), Guides (ages 10-14), Rangers as well as opportunities for young leaders and adult volunteers.
