This week, we take to the roads in KartRider: Drift, and go back to high school in A Space For The Unbound.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Game of the week is A Space For The Unbound on Switch, PC, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One.

This is a nice-looking point-and-click game about two Indonesian high-school students set in the 1990s.

The atmosphere is pleasingly dreamy, and the magic book plot works well – however, to enjoy this game you need to be willing to deal with a lot of high-school student dialogue and there was too much.

It’s certainly worth a play for the nostalgic vibes and the cats, but rather like its studio mate Coffee Talk, you have to really like the naval-gazing element to fully enjoy the game.

Dragon Ball Z: Karakot for PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/X/S, Switch is an animated and very nostalgic world.

The fighting mechanics are complex but the learning curve isn’t that steep.

You can pull off some great combos and you’re properly punished by the enemy if you misplay.

Overall, the story is engaging, the characters will be the ones you’re used to (if you watched the series); the UI is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Fighting isn’t the only thing you can do, as the game offers a variety of things to try out.

KartRider: Drift on Mobile takes us from old school to the gorgeous racer of today, this is a really beautiful and simple kart-racing game.

With an informative tutorial and challenging levels, it is sure to lure you in.

The controls are easy to navigate and the courses are exciting but the game is a little close to a Mario Kart rip-off.

But, as mobile racers go, if you don’t have a Switch, this is a nice option.
