One Piece: Odyssey continues the 25th-anniversary celebrations of one of the biggest manga series in the world.

This time, Monkey D. Luffy and his gang of Straw Hat pirates are marooned on an island where they lose their powers.

In the quest to restore their abilities, the crew must relive past adventures, battling many foes along the way.

Featuring the manga’s original Japanese voice actors, One Piece: Odyssey is a stunning game.

The beautiful artwork awash with the style’s signature bright colours makes exploring the island a real visual pleasure.

Combat is more strategic here and players must choose their crew wisely.

If you’re new to the One Piece world, much of the charm of the characters will be lost on you, but as an RPG, it’s a solid offering worth checking out.

Also out is Ninja Must Die on Mobile.

If you loved Temple Run back in say 2012, this dynamic equivalent is seriously good for passing time.

With beautiful graphics, a landscape layout for a more hands-on gaming experience, and a brilliantly engaging score, this is a really nice little game.

You could easily play this for ages on the train, and it is easy to pick up with a great storyline you can pay attention to, or ignore – the game is still fun.

For big bosses, and endless running, this is a really exciting addition to the mobile space.

Chasing Static on Switch is a nicely playable retro horror game where you, as Chris (with unusually credible voice acting), must work out what has happened in a creepy part of the Welsh countryside.

This involves the usual wandering about in a fairly confined environment and looking for items to solve puzzles.

What lifts this a little above the crowd is the cool reliance on audio, which is really what provides the scary moments.

Using a sort of radar device, you need to follow increasing static to discover creepy echoes of past events.
