A further yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for the Grampian area.
It will be in place from 5pm on Thursday and 10am on Friday.
The Met Office outlined: "Snow and hail showers will continue to affect parts of northern and eastern Scotland, with further accumulations of 2-5cm possible in some places.
"Icy stretches are also expected on untreated roads, particularly during hours of darkness."
The Met Office said the public should expect:
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
