Anderson's of Inverurie have reopened following the announcement of the easing of the current lockdown.

Following strict government guidelines and new measures to ensure all customers and staff are safe, Anderson's of Inverurie reopened on Thursday.

Some of the measures the furniture store have put in place, include out of hours appointments for high risk customers, clear signage throughout the store to remind the customers of the social distancing guidance, and so everyone can confidently visit,the team have also received full guidance and training from health and safety advisors.

They have also introduced a new one way system around the store so it is still easy to browse their products but creates a safe environment for everyone.

Hand sanitiser stations where dispensers are available have been located throughout the store and customers must sanitise their hands prior to entry

A spokesperson for Anderson's of Inverurie said: “We are delighted to announce that, as a home ware retailer, we are able to reopen our shop and warehouse.

“ We cannot wait to welcome locals through our doors.

“We want to reassure everyone that we have worked with our health and safety advisors to implement the necessary measures and procedures to make shopping safe."
