Forglen take the House title at Turriff Primary

Parents and family members were welcomed to Turriff Primary School on Tuesday morning for the annual awards ceremony.

Head teacher Fiona Eaton welcomed all those attending and praised the efforts of both the prizewinners and all the pupils in the school over the last academic year, which draws to a close on Friday.

This year's House Winner Award donated by Turriff Tackle and Trophies was presented to the pupils of Forglen House, who also claimed the Sports House Trophy donated by the Yvonne Milne School of Dance.

Presentations were also made across a wide range of topics including public speaking, modern languages, reading Scots poetry, writing, music, arts and crafts, drama, local heritage, enterprise, social studies, STEM, Community, Friendship and Positivity, Commitment to school life and resilience.
