Foodie fundraisers bring in the money for Turriff charities

Food and friendship continues to be a good fundraiser for local groups.

Coffee mornings continue to be a staple in Turriff's calendar, with Turriff And District Heritage Society raising £754 towards maintaining and operating the town's museums.

A coffee morning to raise funds for Turriff Christmas Lights raised over £325.

To boost funds the group have released a 2023 calendar, which is available to purchase for £6 from The Gift Alley, Traffords, Cheveux and Gallimaufry Christmas Shop.

A soup and sweet at King Edward Community Hall raised £1030 for hall funds.

On Saturday people flocked to Turriff Legion to enjoy a cuppa and a buttery in support of Poppy Scotland.

This Saturday, November 12, Turriff Legion will host a coffee morning to raise funds for Friends Of Turriff Community Hospital who are raising money to build a palliative care suite.
