Three days of boiling hot sunshine and brilliant music – that was the Keith's traditional music festival this year.

The first full festival since before the beginning of the pandemic, the event saw more than 40 musicians descend on the town from as far afield as Shetland.

Kathleen Anderson, the festival's chairperson, said: "The British Legion was absolutely packed on Friday night for the old time dance with Ewan Galloway's band.

"There were so many people we kept having to get more chairs.

"But all three days of the festival were excellent, with loads of concerts and informal sessions across the whole town."

Kathleen added: "We have to thank all the venues who took part as well as all our sponsors.

"We also have to thanks all the musicians who went into homes, shops and churches.

"Usually the Sunday concert has to be held indoors due to the weather, but this year we had glorious sunshine in Reidhaven Square."
