First phase of A96/A920 junction safety improvement work at Huntly is completed

Roads management firm Amey (North East Trunk Roads) has said that phase one of road safety improvements on the A96/A920 junction at Huntly have now been completed.

The £400,000 scheme provides a safer junction, helping to reduce vehicle speeds and adds mutch needed clarification to the junction layout.

The work also delivers vehicle activated advance notification signs to advise road users travelling along the A96 of turning traffic within the junction, as well as resurfacing improvements, road markings and road studs.

The next phase of work is now scheduled to begin later this month.
