Publicity shots have been released of the new Amazon Prime six-part series 'The Rig'.

It's understood the drama will focus on what happens after a mysterious fog completely cuts off a North Sea oil rig from the outside world.

Amongst its stars are Scottish actor Martin Compston, who appeared in Line of Duty, and Ian Glen who was in Game Of Thrones.

Filming finished recently and a screening date will be announced in due course.
