The second Virtually Grampian Pride event takes place tomorrow.

Grampian Pride, which celebrates the LGBT+ community in the north-east of Scotland, made the difficult decision to cancel their pride parade and pride village which had originally been postponed last year.

This hasn't stopped the celebrations however, with the event now taking place online.

The day's events will be streamed through Grampian Pride's Facebook page tomorrow - Saturday May 29 - with the exception of the evening's entertainment which will be streamed through Twitch.

All are invited to join in using #VirtuallyGrampianPride.

The day's programme is as follows:

  • 10am - charity engagement.
  • 11am - virtual pride parade.
  • 1pm - safe space live chat.
  • 2pm - family fun afternoon.
  • 5pm - drag time.
  • 6pm - entertainment (on Twitch).
