Fashion show celebrates 25 years of support from the Garioch Charity Shop

A SPECTACULAR fashion show by Garioch Charities shop filled Inverurie town hall with eager guests on Friday evening.

The show marked the 25th silver anniversary for the shop which has provided financial support to a range of local causes and currently supports the efforts of Homestart Garioch, Friends of Inverurie Hospital and The Gatherin as well as providing small grants.

The models, some from the shop, some friends and family members showed off the stunning outfits in a most professional manner and were compered equally professionally by Linda McMasters one of the trustees and who did a wonderful job connecting with the models and the wonderful audience.

Sue Kinsey, chair of the Trustees of Garioch Charities opened the show and carried out cheque presentation duties.

She has been one of the dedicated volunteers since the shop opened on the High Street and and a musical interlude was provided by harpist Hebe Carter from Lyne of Skene, with cheques for £3000 each to the three main recipients handed over on the evening.
