Family history research session to be held in Macduff Library

A family history drop-in research session will be held at Macduff Library.

It will be part of events to mark Scottish Family History Month.

It will be held in the library on Thursday, February 29, from 1pm-3pm.

An Aberdeenshire libraries spokesman said: "If you are looking for help with your family history research then join a member of the information and heritage team for a free short consultation.

"Find out what resources and advice we can provide to assist your genealogy research. We're on hand to help."

Now in its third year, Scottish Family History Month is hosted by Family Tree and History Scotland and brings together some of the best speakers from the world of Scottish family history.
