Experience some Christmas fun in Huntly

A FESTIVE farmers' market and shopping day will take place in Huntly this Sunday, December 17.

Experience Huntly and Huntly Farmers’ Market have joined forces.

The farmers' market offering local produce, festive fayre, street food and more will run from 10am-1pm in The Square.

Huntly and District Pipe Band members will entertain during the market. You can join Fi and Friends for a pop up choir sing-along, also in The Square, at 11am.

Mr & Mrs Claus will make a visit from 10am and a number of local shops offering last minute festive gifts and essentials wil also be open.

Huntly Crafters pop up shop at 1 Gordon Street will also offer local handmade crafts and gifts from 10am-2pm. Deveron Projects will host festive family crafting sessions at The Square Deal from 10am-5pm, where Huntly Ethical Trading Initiative will also provide Fairtrade hot drinks.

From around 4pm onwards, Santa and his Cairngorm Reindeer will visit The Square, with thanks to the Rotary Club of Huntly. Find out more at www.experiencehuntly.com

Vivien Rae, marketing manager with Experience Huntly, said: “We are really excited for a festive fun day on Sunday, with a real focus on local produce and shopping local, which really helps boost the businesses in and around Huntly. We encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the atmosphere and free activities on offer.”
