Ellon Flower Show showcases local talent

The Ellon Flower Show brought a vibrant splash of colour to the town's Victoria Hall on Saturday giving local growers the chance to show off their flowers, plants and vegetables.

Drawing in a wider age range of competitors, this years event saw entries cover a wide range of varieties as well as handicrafts, baking, wine and even model farms.

Top honours in the plants section went to Peter Scott and the floral section to Sylvia Pike.
