Two Ellon businesses have teamed up to say an exclusive thank you to local key workers.
In his search for personalised gin, Phil Anderson of Phil Anderson Financial Services connected with Keiran Murphy of Ellon Gin to create something special which he could use for fundraising and to thank clients.
After receiving positive feedback from clients who had received a bottle, Phil decided to ask Keiran if they could make a second batch with a slight difference.
This second batch sports a multicolour logo to reflect the support shown for key workers, especially those working in the NHS, during the coronavirus pandemic.
The bottles from this second batch have been donated to local key workers and NHS staff.
It's not just key workers that Phil has taken the time to thank, but he has also made sure that the dedication of his staff and their families have not gone unnoticed.
Commenting, Phil said: "It will be nice to spread a little cheer as folk are getting fed up at the moment.
"A friend of mine once said 'it's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice' and I really believe that.
"I have always tried to look after our staff and in 2018 we won in the Staff Matter category of the Northern Star Business Awards, and a few weeks ago I sent a bottle of champagne to the partners of our team to thank them for having to put up with everyone working from home.
"I appreciate everything our team do and they have been working very hard recently and as a thanks for their efforts I have also given everyone an extra weeks holiday this year. "
