EGS Turbines set to launch new facility in Aberdeen

Knight Property Group has secured a new tenant at Altens Industrial Estate, Souterhead Road in Aberdeen.

Euro Gas Systems (EGS), a Romanian-owned company, who is a leading independent packer of reciprocating compressors has agreed to a ten-year lease on Unit 1, which extends to 3,854 sq ft and includes a small office and designated parking.

The unit in Altens Aberdeen is the head office for EGS Turbines Ltd.

This division operates as part of the EGS group of companies to service your compression and power generation requirements bringing world-class service, and products, to the marketplace.

EGS Turbines aim to provide customers with bespoke solutions that support their operations and gas turbines by assisting with increasing efficiency and decreasing downtime fro facilities in Romania, Aberdeen, Dubai, and Nigeria.

The new Aberdeen facility will be led by Ray van Gijssel (Managing Director), with Paul McGhee (Operations Director).

Together, they bring over 35 years of experience in the turbine industry to the business.

EGS Turbines Managing Director, Ray van Gijssel said: “Launching the new base here in Aberdeen is a huge milestone that heralds the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our business.
