Resurfacing work on the B9025 at a section of the road from the Deveron Bridge westwards is set to close the road from Monday, February 13 to Friday, February 17.
Due to the lack of crossing places for the River Deveron, the normal eight mile journey will lead to a 21 mile long diversion route for vehicles via Banff - B9025 to A97, A97 to A98 Banff, A98 to A947, A947 to Turriff and A947 & B9025 through Turriff to C2s.
The alternative is a 16 mile diversion via Fortrie and Forgue with side roads not advised for large vehicles.
