Motorist in collision with police car in Moray

A motorist was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon following a collision with a police car.

The incident happened on the A98 road near Portgordon at 4.20pm on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said: "The female driver of a Toyota has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

"No police officers have been injured.

"Inquiries are ongoing into the crash."
