Coffee mornings continue to be a popular fundraiser in Turriff with Legion groups enjoying back to back success.

Turriff Legion’s Women’s Section raised over £500 with their annual autumn fair and coffee morning, which boasted a variety of handcrafted and bric a brac items in addition to the usual stalls.

The next week Turriff Legion held their own fundraising coffee morning, previously postponed due to the national period of mourning, and were delighted to welcome crowds through the doors for a very busy morning.

All money raised by Legion events throughout the year goes towards supporting ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen in various ways.
