Deveronvale Community Football Club's 2018 team has been supported by a local fishing vessel.

The Norlan BF362 has sponsored the squad's new strips.

Handing over the kits to the squad was skipper Nicol Ritchie, whose son Niven plays in the team.

The Norlan BF362 is a local fishing boat to the area, owned by two Whitehills families specialising in single net trawling for whitefish.

The vessel said it was honoured to sponsor the talented players and wish them many successful games in the new strips.

Nicol has followed in the footsteps of his father Raymond, whose boat, Raymara, sponsored the football team he was a part of when he was a youngster.
