Dementia support groups to be held at The Vinery in Banff

Support groups for people living with dementia and their carers are to be based at The Vinery in Banff.

Run by Alzheimer Scotland, carers support is a safe space for carers to gain peer assistance and get advice from their local dementia advisor.

The social group is for people living with dementia and their carer to meet others in a friendly environment.

The Vinery in Banff will host the dementia support groups.

Both groups are to run alongside each other within The Vinery.

The community sessions are there to be enjoyed by anyone living with dementia or experiencing difficulties with their memory, and their families and friends.

All are welcome, people can attend independently or for those unable to do so they should bring a companion who can provide any support for them. There is no transport provided to the groups.
