Delays on the A947 after collision near Oldmeldrum brings down power line

Drivers on the A947 to the north of Oldmeldrum between Norvite and St Katherines are being advised to find an alternative route while emergency services continue to deal with an earlier incident.

Emergency services are in attendance at an accident which occurred around 1.45pm which resulted in high voltage power lines being brought down onto the road.

Work is underway to make the road safe again, but drivers are asked as of 2.30pm to find alternative routes at present.
