Delays on A96 after crane accident near Pitmachie

Drivers on the A96 between Pitmachie and Kellockbank are advised of delays in both directions due to an accident involving a crane which has come off the road.

As of 10am, traffic is down to one lane, but a recovery operation which will be needed may lead to a temporary closure in the coming hours.

Update 11am: Diversions are now in place in both directions - northbound at Drimmies Junction with traffic diverted towards the B9001/A920 route to Colpy.

Southbound traffic is being diverted at Colpy in the reverse direction.
