DEAN'S Coffee Stop will permanently close this weekend.
The news was announced today (October 4) on the Facebook page for the Dean's Bistro, Gift Shop and Coffee Stop.
Saturday, October 7 will be the last trading day for the convenient stopping-off point.
The "difficult decision" to shut The Coffee Stop comes due to "ongoing staff shortages", according to the social media post.
Takeaway products will now be available from the Bistro, moving forwards.
Taking to the comments section, locals shared their reaction to the closure.
Mazie Gibson said: "Such a shame will miss my pups and fav people.
Rachel McDiarmid said: "Loved meeting the regulars coming in with their dogs and meeting new people too!
"Such a shame.
"Worked with a brilliant team and made some great memories here!"
Jacqueline Coull said: "Really sad.
"We enjoy stopping off here while walking our dog.
"Such a shame for a purpose built building."
After being tagged by a friend, Brenda Robertson said: "That's such a shame another good place gone."
On the Dean's of Huntly website, The Coffee Stop is described as: "Ideal for a quick breakfast on your way to work, or a convenient place to break up your journey, The Coffee Stop is designed to offer convenience for customers on the go."
It adds that the Stop's menu includes breakfast rolls, sandwiches, soup, homebakes, hot and cold beverages.
Friday October, 6 and Saturday October, 7 will now be the last chance to visit The Coffee Stop, between 9am and 3pm.
The Bistro and Shop will continue to be open every day from 10am to 4pm.
Dean's of Huntly's Facebook post reads: "Due to ongoing staff shortages we have made the difficult decision to permanently close The Cofee Stop.
"The Bistro and Shop will be open as normal with takeway items available from the Bistro.
"Thank you to all our customers and their four-legged friends who visited The Coffee Stop."
