Featuring a dozen local amateur dramatics enthusiasts, the show is taking place at the Dr Spence Memorial Hall in the heart of Udny Green.

Packed full of local gags and family friendly humour, the production has been financially supported by Udny Community Trust and a number of local businesses.

Rehearsals have been underway since September and will culminate in three shows this Friday, December 8 and Saturday 9 at 2pm and at 7pm.

Pantomime stalwart Jeannie Price said: “This community event has become a firm favourite in the parish in the run up to Christmas and provides fabulous entertainment at affordable prices thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.

“We’re looking forward to another successful run with Friday night already sold out but some availability left for Saturday’s performances.”

Remaining tickets are available from Café 48 and the Coop in Pitmedden and the Coffee Apothecary Udny.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for children five and under.
