A coffee morning in Turriff Legion on Saturday raised over £400 for a village pre-school.

The event was organised by volunteers from Crudie Playgroup and raised £427.

This money will be used to purchase new play equipment to improve the playgroup experience for the young people.

The group were delighted with the support they received from the community as the hall filled with enthusiastic chatter.

This Saturday (March 19) the Legion will be fundraising for one of their own.

Everyone is welcome to pop in for a cuppa and a buttery and help raise funds for Turriff RBL Women’s Section, between 10am and noon.
