Hallowe'en-enthused young crafters were kept busy at three crafty sessions, with the help of some enthusiastic adults, in Garioch Heritage Centre on Loco Works Road in Inverurie on Saturday.

There were various tables set up for different activities, including mask making, cat creations and all sorts of spooky characters which participants could cut out, glue then admire.

The morning, mid-day and afternoon sessions were all well-attended, with almost 40 children attending throughout the day.

Garioch Heritage Centre's Pat Mackay said: "It was a fab effort by all the volunteers and we had many positive comments and thanks from parents on a well presented day.

"We had 38 kids over all the sessions with five different craft activities, activity sheets for them to take away and cat hunts for them to do in the upstairs gallery.

"The cafe also had Hallowe'en themed lunch boxes on sale."
