An NHS Grampian spokesperson said: "Turner Hospital in Keith is currently closed to new admissions following an outbreak of Covid-19, affecting a total of 23 staff and patients.

"The virus continues to circulate widely in all communities.

"We would encourage the public to continue testing with lateral flow devices, especially if they are visiting friends or relatives in hospital.

"If they experience any of the known symptoms of Covid-19, they should isolate at home and arrange a PCR test."
