Can Aberdeen & Kincardine Bowling Association stop Bon Accord winning the North Section of the Scottish inter county championship this weekend? - thats the question posed by Mike Barron.

A win for Bon Accord and they are champions.

A draw would do it as they have a 90 shot advantage over those chasing.

The only match of six Bon Accord have lost was against Perthshire 113-119, their only win of the season, and now they are bottom of the league section.

Bon Accord on 9 points are one ahead of both Angus on 8 as are Highland 8.

Angus meet City of Dundee who have had a mixed season winning half of their matches, while Highland meet Northern Counties, who have only won one of six matches.

A & K have won three and lost three with one to go.

Can A & K beat Bon Accord this weekend it will be a major surprise if they do.

A leading skip on Sunday commented “it can be done!”
